Practice Conversion Problems: Two Conversion Factors
If you are not sure of the conversion factor between a metric unit and an English unit, you can easily use the conversion factors you are familiar with. The catch is that you may need to use more than one conversion factor. Look at this example:
Example #1: Converting 8 meters to inches.
(Hint: Conversion factor #1 is 1 meter (m) = 3.28 feet (ft))
(Hint: Conversion factor #2 is 1 foot (ft) = 12 inches (in))
